After removing the cover You can then use a flathead to pry the four major attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. These are marked in red on the image below. Also note the tabs that locate slots, which are yellow, that must be removed in addition.
Replace the battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening on the fob and that the"-" negative side is facing the rubber buttons.
Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've completed this, put the fob for the driver side back in your car and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything is working correctly, the parking lights should be on and the doors will lock.
